A Stitcher's Wardrobe: Great Northern Outfit

This dress was sewn in July while I was Artist In Residence at Searsport Shores.  The top of it was bright red.  I overdyed the whole dress in December.

The cowl is a long moebius strip, crocheted from the center out in a favorite stitch. The yarn is a Rowan angora blend, two balls.

The belt buckle was pilfered from my parent's barn. Not sure if my Dad or my Brother brought it home. Mine now.

Love everything about this , and the overdying clothing to make it work better is something I never think of. The cowl looks fantastic. Needs a name!
